Tegan is also the co-founder of Fontella the zine machine, a vending machine (affectionately named Fontella) for zines, comics and stickers soon to be located at ‘The Workshoppery’ in Barkly Square. The project aims to complement the existing Ballarat zine culture by providing a playful opportunity for regional Victorian creatives to engage in the medium, share their ideas with the community and build connections with fellow zinesters.  Alongside her involvement in the zine machine project Tegan is also a local Ballarat based multi-disciplinary artist. She works predominantly as a painter and more recently a collage artist and zine maker. Her collages and zines are a celebration of the kitschy knitting models, 'unique' retro recipe images and kooky advertisements found in books, magazines and patterns of the mid-century era. She combines cut out images to make quirky, often humorous compositions that revel in the gaudy. Tegan is always scouring op-shops and vintage stores for inspiration attracted to the colours, patterns and advertising of the mid-century era.  Tegan has a studio at Barkly Square called The Workshoppery, where she runs art and craft workshops and works on her own practice.
